Dear visitor,

Thank you for your interest in my educational practice. I am a licensed international educator with an M.Ed. in Education Research in Leadership, an MS in Economics, and a BA in English Literature. Since 2014, I have been leading school-wide projects, coordinating IBDP and IBCP Core elements, and teaching Language Arts, Creative Writing, Literature, and Performing Arts courses worldwide in both IB and American curricula.

I have successfully led the coordination of the IBDP Extended Essay and IBCP Reflective Project, implementing a comprehensive support framework for students and supervisors. This initiative has included workshops, a dedicated web page, and personalized guidance, resulting in notable improvements in students' critical analysis and academic writing. Collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), I have helped foster a culture of academic excellence.

My leadership style is rooted in transformational and coaching approaches, emphasizing continuous improvement, mentorship, and ethical communication. I promote analytical, data-driven decision-making and a student-centered mindset, fostering diversity and mutual growth within our professional network.

In the classroom, I prioritize engaging instruction, clear goals, and differentiated assessments, facilitating collaboration, critical thinking, and rigorous academic achievement. I have designed curricula across various subjects, including Language Arts, Language Acquisition, and Performing Arts, while integrating ethics into projects. Throughout my career, I have guided students in impactful initiatives, from advocating for human rights to raising funds for community support, all within a Project-Based Learning framework.

I have proudly watched my students accomplish significant positive changes in society. Together, we had run successful campaigns advocating for human rights, created websites and social media channels to reach larger audiences, and raised funds to support communities in need. These projects were achieved within a Project-Based Learning (PBL) cross-curricula framework. I aim to help students and colleagues shape their voices to bring awareness and solutions to scholarly and professional communities.

Having lived and worked in four multicultural countries, I have effectively coordinated initiatives and collaborated with peers and students from over 80 nationalities, strengthening my commitment to multiculturalism and global citizenship.

I am eager to leverage my coordinating skills and leadership experience with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to enhance international education and the IBDP at your institution, working alongside like-minded professionals to enrich the global community of learners.

Sincerely,

Maria Stolyarova
